I wish I had neighbors like you.

I joined Nextdoor, an app that is basically Facebook for your neighborhood. Majority of the people are some Karen’s complaining that dogs are peeing on the bottom of their land, which they don’t even own because they don’t know what a property easement.

My driveway is about 8’ wide and 100’ long. If I had kids riding bikes like that, I’d draw a track, no question. Unfortunately, my street has no sidewalks, so few kids on bikes.

It was fun to watch but as soon as some kid gets hurt there will be an irate parent at his door threatening to sue for “encouraging” their kid to race around his chalk track.

I was pretty lenient about kids playing in my yard until they started hitting my car with their football and didn’t seem to give a damn. That was the end of their fun in my yard.

That’s so cool. At first, the kid’s just meandering aimlessly, and now he’s got a challenge course to further develop his riding skills. Look how much he enjoys it too! Just imagine, if thi s is what sparks the kid’s later involvement in a racing career...
